Here is a picture of my dwarf African bullfrog. I am the education secretary for the Nebraska Herpetological Society and take my frogs with me as I visit the elementary and middle schools throughout Nebraska and Iowa. It's a lot of fun and the kids really enjoy the chance to see reptiles and amphibians up close and personal

Hey Terry have you read Philippe's new book?
That's a great looking dwarf you got there! How old is it?
Kevin:
I haven't seen the book yet. I'll have to check it out!
Raya:
Thanks! I thinks it's a real beauty. According to the person I got it from, it's a little over a year old. Still has the stripe down the back, a good sign it's still a juvenile.

It's an E-book you can check it out on amazon and type in african bullfrogs it'll pop up right at the top. for 10 bucks I'd say it's worth the read. Covers a lot of stuff on the confusion with this genus. Makes me wonder if he looked at the article you wrote awhile back.
Great looking frog!!! my D pixie frog seen in the photo of the month is an adult and still has his strip down his back but then again he looks alot different than 99 percent of the dwarfs i have seen out there looking forward to seeing pics when he/she grows up
My female is 2.5+ years old and still has the stripe on her back too. So at least some dwarves keep them when getting older.
