The Butterfly Show

So this is another "flashback" thread. But we didn't have this section then! These are some pictures from June. It isn't exactly fieldwork, but it is nature-related so I thought I'd share them.

Every year the Krohn Conservatory has a Butterfly Show. They block off one wing of the conservatory and let a couple thousand butterflies and moths loose. It is an amazing event! I look forward to it every year.

What type of butterfly is this?

Awesome photos If any of you happen to be in the Omaha area, check out the Henry Doorly Zoo, they have a wonderful butterfly exhibit. I don't want to brag, but it is the new number 1 zoo in the U.S. Gotta see it!

What type of butterfly is this?

I'm not sure what kind or species they are. They're from all over. Many from South America.
