Hopefully your frog didn't suffer any internal inuries, if it did a vet is your only option.
The redness could be from smacking the ground, from rubbing around on the dry rough carpet, or from some kind of chemical exposure.
I would give him a couple of vitamin/honey baths just to relax him and help boost his immune system.
Use lukewarm bottled spring water. If you have to use tap water make sure you condition it to remove the chlorine & chloramine. Pour 10 fl.oz. in a dish, add 1 fl.oz. of **unflavored** Pedialyte, 3 drops of organic raw honey (regular honey will work if this isn't an option, but raw honey is always best), and a scoop of Fluker's Repta-Boost. Mix the bath well, then let your frog soak in it for 20-30 minutes. Ideally the water level will come right up to your frog's mouth, but not over its nose. A weak frog can drown in deep water. Reglardless of how deep the water is, you'll water to supervise the bath to make sure nothing goes wrong. It's a good idea to spoon some of the bath over your frog two or three times during the soak.
Raw honey is a natural and safe anti-bacterial, anti-viral, & anti-fungal substance. The lukewarm water & honey bath will also help an impacted (constipated) frog go to the bathroom. The Pedialyte & Repta-Boost will help replish your frog's electrolyte, vitamin, and mineral levels.
The undersides of their legs and belly are extremely sensitive. The carpet could have irritated the skin and or anything in the carpet like the vacuum powders and so on. Also the impact on the floor could have burst some tiny blood vessels. Keep a very close eye on him and if needs be take him to a vet. Are his legs ok? Any sign of a break it swelling?
Thank you both he seems fine a little shell shocked and he's had 2 warm baths just to raise his temp the first thing I went for was the pedialyte and the honey and I'm out of both I knew that would be the advice but I needed to hear it again it one thing for me to recommend it to other people on here but when it's my baby in freaking out I'm off tho the store here's avoid of his legs
