I found this guy on a road trip the other day. I believe he is a northern green frog (Rana/Lithobates clamitans).
Just in case you ask, no, I did not disturb him.

Not that it makes it any less pretty, but I think it's a Female Bullfrog, Lithobates catesbeianus. Female because the tympanum is about the same size as the eye and Bullfrog because it doesn't appear to have dorsolateral folds extending down it's back (it is submerged so I could be wrong here, but the fold is usually pretty obvious).
