This is new for me, usually I just search and find other discussions that answer my questions. So i can say that i have done my homework, and take all the recommended precautions, so i think. Heres my story, I set up a vivarium to house red eyed tree frogs. Every time I buy frogs they usually die within a day or 2. first i bought 3, and 2 died overnight, then i got 2 and one died, overnight. Last i just bought 2 more and both died one overnight and one over 2. All 3 times i got the frogs at repticon, and they all looked to be healthy. every time the frog wall stretched out dead, sometimes upside down. 4 of the times i did not remove them from there holing container, just placed it in the tank so it could have the same humidity and temperature of healthy red eyes. Just overnight, because im trying to be so cautious after having earlier ones die. I hear stress can be a factor, but geez 5 frogs dead. I have read alot of posts, and have all of the basics covered, temp, humidity, ext. the 2 frogs i have living now are doing very well, just bothers me that i cant keep others alive for a night. Plrease help if ya can, maybe this has happened to someone else?
