Night crawler feeding amount?

well my frog ate 4 pieces of night crawlers and 1 cricket last night, he almost ate an entire night crawler, I am not sure why his appetite is varying so much. Could this be the start of a growth spurt?

Possibly. Their appetite will also vary from day to day too and won't always eat the same amount.

hmm today i could on feed it one piece of a night crawler, and it missed the night crawler about 4 times when trying to eat it. My frogs appetite is changing by the day it seems.

It probably doesnt need to eat every day, just feed as much as it will eat every other day

This is also fine. I offer daily because if they're hungry they'll eat, if not then that's ok too. Whichever you would prefer.
