how do i get my pacman frog to eat from a tong?

I've been trying to feed my pacman frog some japanese pacman food from my tongs. I know i should be using curved tongs, but my pacman won't go after anything in a tong. are some just impossible to tong feed? It feeds great on any cricket that moves around by itself, just no biting when it comes to tongs.

Help appreciated.

Try giving it crickets on a tong. I bet it takes them!

With tongs, sometimes if you gently tap and poke the food at the frogs mouth or snout it will get defensive and open its mouth and you can then simply insert the food item and they will be like "oh snap i accidentally got food in my mouth....gulp."
