Plexie glass for aquarium

So petco has this amazing sale on their aquariums right now. A 3 foot long aquarium for only $20 and its a deal I can't pass up. Well anyway I was planning on splitting it into 4 different sections and I was told u could do so with plexie glass. The thing is that I don't know if this is harmful in anyway to a pacman or any type of frog

Should I get plexie glass or just stick with a glass divider? The reason I also want to use plexie glass is because a glass sheet is pricey.

Glass is cheap! Go to lowes and buy a large sheet and have them cut it... Here are their prices as of a few months ago (cutting is free):

O wow the last time I spilt an aquarium its cost me a lot for a small sheet

Glass shops are a little more expensive but you'll get a really good cut... Lowes has a tendency of cutting a little crooked (at least the two stores near me).

I will definitely check it out though. U may have saved me over $40 haha
