Have you been using calcium, d3, and vitamin powders? Sometimes frogs can lose control of their tongues if they are vitamin deficient.

If you're providing calcium & vitamins as directed that's probably not the issue. I dunno what it could be, hopefully someone else can provide some insight.

Does this vitamin supplement contain Vitamin A? A Vitamin A deficiency can cause this as well as a calcium deficiency. You should try Herptivite. It has Vitamin A reformed into beta carotene to help prevent Vitamin A toxicity.

A good supplement to use in my opinion is repashy calcium plus. I switch back in march to this and since then my frogs have been more active, brighter looking, and just seem healthier overall. It's a calcium and multivitamin all in one, ratioed out to be used safely everyday.

I guess instead of actually adding more calcium and vitamins, it somehow enhances the insects natural values, and adds a little bit not a whole lot. I actually e-mailed Allen Repashy to see how this works and why only this supplement is safe for every feeding, and that's what he told me.

    Best of luck!

It's a bit expensive, depends on how much of it you want. I just for a 16oz bag for like, $25.
