    Default My son's WTF

I thought I would post a picture of Viper the WTF, recovering nicely from his adventure a couple of weeks ago.

His skin is healing up well I think. And here he is with my son, his doting caregiver:

So glad he's recovering well! They are fragile animals but also wonderfully resilient with love and care. He's lucky to have a good owner, so many people view them as "disposable" pets, easily replaced by buying another.

As a child I had many a frog escape either because I forgot to latch the tank, left it open, or had one out and forgot to put him or her away. My mom spent many a day searching with me to find a lost little one. The craziest find was one that had gotten underneath the fridge to utilize the water in the drip pan. Amazingly, he survived. Keep loving your little one, he appears to be growing stronger and healthier every minute!

Thanks for the kind words, Camille! We are all attached to our froggies, but my son most of all.
