I am currently trying to breed the RETF that I have. I have a rain chamber set up and I have put these frogs through the dry season. So the females are nice and fat almost looking bulgy in the back so I though it is time. The male frog is croaking every night and morning so I am ready.. ( I bought 4 at once and asked for 2 males and 2 females) ( I think I got 3 females and 1 male) I put him in the rain chamber to let him get used to it and to call to the females. The issue I am having is that he keeps trying to get out.. He rubs his nose on the top and it scrapes it. Is it something I am doing wrong? I only turn the rain on at night and only for a few hours. I took him out and put in back in his real home because I dont want his nose to actually scratch. If I cant get him to calm down in the rain chamber how can I breed him? Someone please chime in I will take all advice and put it to good use. I have spent a lot of money on these frogs so I am trying to get a few babies to put in my wall tank ( build in progress). I also would like to post some picture of these frogs so yall could give possibly determine the sex. I know for sure 1 is male because I hear him all the time. Now I could have sworn I heard a different type of croaking from a different one but I may be mistaking. Are my odds worse since I only have 1 male? (I know the answer) I havnt seen the male attempt to mount any of the females but he surly calls every night after lights out. I will have pictures up very soon... within the night.. Thanks
