    Default Regional Sub Forums

I think it would be a good idea to have regional sub-forums on this board. The dart frog board I frequent has this type of setup. We have a local community (SCADS) that has formed from this board. I would love to attend a meet every couple of months that was not just dart frog related but encompassed all types of frogs and amphibians. I'd even be willing to start forming and organizing a SoCal chapter (I don't know of any in existence at least).

You could maybe make a "Group" if you want to start something on this forum. The existing groups are all dedicated to types of frogs, amphibians, or reptiles, but groups can also have the "Regional" classification, so I'm guessing this would be allowed. I'm sure a moderator or two will chime in.

Under the forum main view, if you hit the "Community" button you can get to the Groups page. Or under your profile page there's a "Join Groups" button in the left column. Or go straight to http://www.frogforum.net/groups/

i like this idea. we do it on the planted tank forum as well. in fact we have a great group of all local people where we meet up and talk fish and trade stuff. it's a blast.
