Thanks for the replies! I have decided that I do want a WTF. I would like to avoid cricket keeping at all costs. What are some good alternatives for these guys? I do have some dubia that I'm attempting to breed but right now I only have one adult male and one adult female. The others are at different juvenile stages. All too big to feed to a young frog. I have some night crawlers that I had been cutting up and force feeding to my pac right before he died. Will a WTF eat night crawlers? Or am I stuck with crickets until my roaches breed?
I'm considering getting a digital thermometer/humidity gauge for outdoor use. You know, the ones with the little reader attached to a wire to hang out a window. Would that be accurate enough for my terrarium? I was also wondering what some good alternatives to coconut fiber as a substrate would be. I always find little fruitfly looking things crawling in the coconut fiber and I'm not sure if it's bad for the frogs or not? So maybe something else would be better?
