A couple weeks ago my pacman frog died after a couple months of trying to get him to eat properly. He was fine for the first month I had him and then he just stopped wanting to eat at all. I posted on here and tried everything to no avail. He started to look better at one point and then just plummeted downhill and eventually died. This was a very upsetting ordeal and I considered not getting another frog at all. But I decided maybe a different kind of frog would be best. From what I've read on these forum and elsewhere pacman frogs seem to be very easily stressed, which may be what happened to my frog.
After some research I think I would like to get a white's tree frog. Are they hardier than pacs? Right now I only have a 10 gallon tank but I intend to get a larger one as my new frog grows. After my pac died I converted it to a planted terrarium with the plants I had in with my pacman frog. I'm wondering what sort of cleaning procedure I should go through with the tank before I get another frog and if I should keep the same plants in there? Any other tips would be great as well![]()
