I'm sure it's an exciting day for all WTF owners, and I wanted to share with people who'd actually understand my excitement After the scare with Igby, who started acting a little strange last week, turns out he was just going "into season." He's been croaking every day (why during the day I don't know; he just wakes up, gives a call or two and goes right back to sleep). BUT, today after many miserably failed attempts, I finally got him to call back to my "croaking" impression.

It's just exciting to have that little bit of call and response.

Thought I'd share a fun "new owner story," rather than the usual panicked thread.

Really vacuum cleaner? That is hilarious. Do you want to try to breed yours?

WOW! Talk about a major retraction! So....turns out it is not Igby who is doing the talking! We figured that it was him every time we heard it because Igby is the one who is always out and about...and Kibbits hides inside a tree all day! Well....we heard it for the first time at night today, when both of the frogs were waiting patiently by the glass doors because it was feeding time. There was Kibbits, croaking away and Igby silent as ever! We are rather surprised to say the least! No wonder Igby would give us that look of "what?" every time we went over to the tank after hearing a call. Haha! I guess that means that Igby is a girl. She was about twice the size of Kibbits when we purchased them both, and if Kibbits is at that age, she must be past it. Anyway, hilarious turn of events! Needless to say, it's still a boy...just not the right one ; )

By the way Mich, I think that's too funny about the vacuum cleaner. I can't imagine what it would be about that sound that would spark interest! Ha!

I know, weird right? He does it when the hair dryer goes too. Must be something to do with their weird hearing system. Its like a competition on whos the loudest. Just hope im not scaring him!

And congrats on your boy and girl!
