what kind of frog are you intending on buying? Different frogs have different requirements. Check out my build logs for any ideas on making a viv that is land and water. I have Fire bellied toads that love the water, so my tanks have mainly water with some land areas for them to climb on. Other frogs don't swim at all and prefer to climb.

*edit* Sorry I had multiple tabs open, I didn't see that you were getting a FBT toad. I would recommend using eggcrate to build a land area in water. FBTs love to hang out in water, so anything that is partally covered in water (ie. rocks and stones) they will love and hang out on. I used great stuff foam to make the background and then used silicone to place cocofiber and stones for the background

here's the care sheet he was talking about

you'll want lots of water with an area that they can climb around in. they like plants too, even if they're fake. you'll want a filter for your water as well as they secrete toxins and contaminate the water. you'll want to do partial water changes every other day or so and complete water changes about every week or so (well, that's how I do it, but I have 4 frogs in a smaller space so I change the water a lot).
