That is very awesome! I have a 29 tall sitting around that I'm thinking about turning into a nice Dart Frog setup. I'm going to start some research on custom builds.![]()
Wow! Beautiful, nice job! I'm currently building two similar set ups for my non-aquatic frogs...
I like the idea of using egg crate, I was wondering about the black (pond and stone) G.S.'s ability to stick to glass by itself. Do you think this was easier/more sturdy?
I love the plastic tubing coated in coconut fiber, definitely including this in my setups...
What did you use to coat the background (picture 5) it looks lighter than just coconut fiber.
I like that you incorporated a plant pot/cup...what did you use/does it need to have drainage?
ok... i think I'm done with questions for a minute, looks great!!
Black pond and stone greatstuff - My other vivariums i tried putting it straight on the glass
and had problems with it falling off. So i would recommend using the eggcrate. From now
on all my tanks with be egg crate. Highly recommend it.
For the background on picture 5 i just used plain coconut fiber. It looks a little different there
because i did not shake the extra off yet. So maybe that is throwing you off a bit.
Plant pot, i just held the cup how i wanted it and sprayed the great stuff around it. Then after
adding all the cocofiber and everything cured... i drilled a few holes in the bottom right side
for drainage.
Hahaha, and thank you all for the really kind complements!
If there's anymore questions or suggestions please feel
free to ask away. THANKS!
