    Question Hey guys, should I get a Pyxie?

    I really like them, I just want some fun things about them that makes them different from other frogs, it'll help me decide whether or not I should, thanks!

    Yea you should. Just keep in mind they're a bottomless pit under the right care. And if they're exceptionally happy you may think there's a cow in your room in the middle of the night/

    Lol! No they don't smell. Kevin is referring to how much they eat. All cows do is eat all day long and a Pyxie's appetite could be compared to that of a cow's I guess.

    they don't do much mine just sleeps all day and she doesn't like to walk around too much. she is pretty big. about a pound and a half - two pounds. so if you are looking for something to run around and to have fun with i am not sure if pyxies are the right type. don't get me wrong i love my pyxie and would never trade her BUT she doesn't do much.

    Bruce got it right. When they're well cared for they'll call quite often.

    i wish mine was a little more active, i dont know her age so its hard for me to say its because she is older and big! but when i do get her out of her tank and let he walk around she does a little i give her a bath about once a week and i think she likes it. she doesnt make any calling sounds, i hope that doesnt mean she is unhappy

    Pixies are great, especially if you like to watch things eat...And they are much more active than pacmans(in my experience
    )
