    Default New Tad

So at the pet store the other day they accidentally got a tadpole in with some fish and they let me have it for two dollars. its very big, I'l post a picture tommorow, everyones guess was that its a bullfrog. My question is how should I set it up and care for it as it morphs, and also what do I feed it in each stage? I've got him right now in a small 2.5 tank with about two inches of water. I've been giving him fish flakes but he doesnt seem to take to them, I was going to get some algae disks tommorow, they said he goes after those. advice?

One thing to keep in mind is that bull frogs get very big.

Hi Richie, First of all, Congratulations on your new addition to your pet family. I don't know much about Bull Frogs but if the Tad doesn't seem keen on the fish flakes then what I give my tadpoles is Blanched lettuce, they go nuts for it. You wash it thoroughly then blanch it, don't boil it as you take out the goodness, and then freeze it. When you need some you just great it into their water. Give that a go. Having one Tad you wont need too much. Just try a little to start with.
