Merry meets Frodo and Sam!!!

So today is the big day! Merry's 30 days in quarantine is up. She has been eating, pooping, moving, bathing. So this morning we moved he from her large cricket keeper into her new home!

Merry didn't seem to care about Frodo and Sam as the kinda ignored her after 10 seconds too . But quickly took to exploring her new home. (Exo Terra 18x18x24 tall)...

Sam is done bathing and not too interested in making friends at the moment and decides to explore.... I kinda went pic crazy! I'm scared shes going to lose her pretty green like the others so I decided to enjoy it while it lasts. She settled on this branch under the lights and seems comfy and I just went a checked on her and Frodo is up with her on the other side of the branch XD.

I'm sure she'll be happy to be in her new enclosure. Your other ones don't turn green or what? I tend to see them as gray more often then green in the wild but they do tend to blend in with their backgrounds. Sometimes I see them as really light green when they're sitting on big leafs.

All 3 were green when I got them :/... Frodo changed within days, he remains grey or brown. Sam stayed green the whole 30 days in quarantine like Merry, then changed over a few weeks or so ... but Sam seems to change shades frequently... not as bright green as she was though. So we shall see what Merry does.

It seems like you have to have a massive amount of green plants in there with them for them to stay green. Mine are also usually grey. I am considering changing their brown background to a green one to see if that makes them want to be green more often.

I recently put in the sheet moss and hoping it starts to go green too to help but it seems to be remaining a brownish :/... I took out the exo terra background as the crickets would climb it and sometimes get at the very top or behind where Frodo couldn't get them. I got a Forest background at Petsmart and put it around the back
