Thank you everyone that showed concern for Miss Fiona Frog. She unfortunately passed away this afternoon between 1:15 and 4:45. I came home for lunch and she was on her back. I picked her up and put her in her food bowl, her labor seemed labored. When I came home from work she was lying on her belly with her legs straight out. It's really sad but I sort of had a premonition on the way home that it was going to happen.
In a separate post I will post pictures of her last few days. Maybe someone will see something in the pictures that would explain things and maybe it will help someone else that has a sick frog.
Thanks again everyone, I am so glad I found this forum. Now to dote on Shrek, he is going to get lost in his new GIANT tank!
I am so sorry for your loss Sasha. :-( :-( It is always hard to lose a pet. You did everything you could. At least she isn't suffering anymore. Keep a close eye on Shrek to make sure the parasites didn't pass to him. Sorry again for your loss. :-(
I missed this thread about Miss Fiona Frog.
However, I just wanted to say...... how sorry I am that she died.

Thanks Grif and Lynn. I'm keeping a close eye on Shrek. I am still going to go to the vet next week to pick up his second dose of the dewormer.
Definitely a good plan!
I'm so sorry your baby has passed. It's so heartbreaking when we can not save them <3. I hope Shrek will do well for you.
