I would say you got lucky with such a small piece.
I took out all the plants in mine because he has already taken a bite out of a croton and digs the others up anyways. good luck with the frog recovery
Yeah I think I may take it out and get a bigger fake plant to put in. He's acting fine, like nothing at all happened, so that's good news! I'm keeping a close eye on him though
