I have not heard of any worms that are actually visible in a tree frogs fecal matter. I myself have had issues with hook worms and as far as i know, they arent visible. Dr Fryes assistant said they were the most hookworms in a singe fecal examination that she had ever seen. I would shoot Dr Frye an Email regarding this also. If you cannot afford to take your frogs to a vet her specializes in exotic pets, he is a great second option. Honestly...hes my first option.

When using panacur, I find it best to transfer your frogs into a new containor every few days. The more you transfer them into a new containor, the less chance the hook worms have. The easiest way i have found to do this is to use sterilite tubs. Get 2 or even 3 tubs. Cut a hole in the lid for ventilation and put some screen over top of it. All you need is paper towels on the bottom. Anything that has been in your frogs tank has hookworms in it and needs to be disposed of. Some things can be cleaned, but its whether or not you want to risk keeping the worms around over a $5 plant or whatever. I threw all of my stuff away. Anyways, dust your feeders with panacur. I find it sticks better when i spray my crickets with water. After your frogs eat, wait until the next day and move them into the new sterilite containor. Its good to wait the next day, so your frogs can poop and shed out the worms in the old tank, than start fresh in a new tank. They will be fine without a plant for a while and will just stick to the sides. Feed your frogs like normal for the next week until its time for the treatment again. After the treatment wait until the next day and repeat the process. From what i was told it is best to get 3 containors and change into a new containor every day. That is if you actually have the time to do that. I did that for a while but ended up having to change containors every few days. Im still in the process of using the panacur and swapping containors when dirty. The best way to clean your containor is with bleach. 9 parts water to 1 part bleach. Scrub the whole tank down with the solution then RINSE RINSE RINSE. I even fill up with water after rinsing and splash it all over the sides then dump it back out. After that, dry it off, let it air dry, then its ready for use. My frogs went from sleeping on the ground, not being able to stick to the sides, running nasty poop, unhealthy frogs to being back on the top, fat as ever, beautiful looking red eyes just from using that panacur routine. Some might say its a bit overkill, but parasites can be a pain to deal with.
