Hi, Im new to this website and I'm here to learn and talk about my FBT'S!! So first of all I want to determine if I have a boy and a girl or not. There is one I am pretty sure is a boy his name is uno (becuase he has one toe on his right foot) he tried to mate with the other and calls out at night. I think the other (numa) might be a boy becuase when uno tries to mount numa he/she makes a call, and I can't tell if numa has tried to mount uno either!! So what is girly behavior for a toad? I can try to get pictures, but my old camera decided to not work and might still be dead.
I think sometimes the female will call out if she doesn't want to be mated...I'm not sure about FBTs though, that's just what I've heard about other species.
And welcome to the forum!! It's a good place to chat and learn![]()

And, I've read that male's have thicker arms with pointy spines on their back, while female's have a smooth back and a sleek figure, Is this true?
Females can not make noise, only males have the ability to call. Males tend to have thicker arms, nuptial pads on their fingers, bumpier skin than females.
