Substrate

So I have a Red Eyed Tree Frog and I've been having some problems with the substrate. I used just bare Exo Terra Plantation Soil for a while but then I put an Exo Terra Moss Mat over it. But two nights ago he swallowed a bit of it. I've been keeping a close eye on him and he is not impacted. But I'm worried that it'll happen again and he will get impacted. So should I keep the substrate I have? And if not, any suggestions for a new one?

I myself like the plantation soil. I keep away from moss with my tree frogs.

If you feed your RETF using the cricket bowl method then you would be fine keeping the moss. I use just the plantation soil since it is digestable. I also use a pile of leaf liter in with my tree frogs but that is for moisture and to keep any soil off the frogs if they do decide to go onto the soil. I can't remember the last time they were seen on the substrate though.
