Nice looking frog cowis. I wouldn't feed it goldfish though they contain thiaminase that can be bad for your frog. A ten gallon will be good for your frogs entire life really. I blocked off half of the tank for mine when he was smaller so he could capture prey easier. Crickets, dubia roaches, and worms are great staple foods. I'd avoid mealworms too frankly. And wait on feeding pinkies until its bigger.

Welcome to the forums and very nice frog, Cowis. Is that just a plain green cranwelli? I see that it has some red markings as well. Pretty Pacman.

skull shape.. its hard to explain.. but after looking at thousands of froglets nightly over the last few years... I can give a guess sometimes, and I'm usually right if I guess... male or female.. if I'm on the fence then I'll say I'm not sure.. but this one looks female.
also this is with C. cranwelli

Ok, thanks Ivory. I was kind of assuming my Green Cranwelli was a female based on it's head shape, too.. Just from comparing the way she looks to the other female pictures I've seen around this site. I really hope it is a female.

I know what Ivory II is talkin about when it comes to skull shape. Its probably a female based on its snout shape. When I got my albino female I could tell right away based off of that alone, even though it was "technically" too early to tell. Its at 3.5 inches (around) now while my other frogs of the same age are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller. Their snout slope down significantly more also, plus they have been croaking, have loose dark throats and toe pads...which i didnt think happened so early.
