My male, whamshell has me a bit worried. He really sucks at catching crickets. I've never seen him successfully catch one before today. I've seen him lunge and miss many times though. At first I thought he was just uncoordinated, but once I put him into a small container with crickets, he was able to catch them a lot easier since they couldn't jump away from him. I think he might be going blind because he lunges at everything! pieces of crickets that manage to get in there, my little tong things I use to snatch stuff out of the water, poop that's in there before I get it out... I was worried he wasn't getting enough to eat so I think I'm going to start feeding him like this from now on. Poor dude

does he run/hop in circles when he detects prey? one of mine does it's a problem caused by another male trying to mate with him and grabbing too hard and injuring his spine

no he moves fine when he moves...

I'll look. I forgot animals eyes go cloudy when they're blind
