There are several reasons for cloudy water:
Gravel residue: caused by gravel that hasn't been washed thoroughly.
Dissolved chemicals: there could be a high level of phosphates or heavy metals. if this is the case the pH levels would be high. Make sure water is treated properly.
Bacterial blossom: heavy growth of bacteria, remove decaying plants, uneaten food, vacuum gravel regularly, and do regular, partial water changes.
Green water caused by algae or too much direct light. Difficult to correct.
If you see brown algae, just wipe down the walls of the tank. Easy to cure.

Keeping aquatic frogs is just like keeping fish - water quality and understanding water chemistry will help you have healthy frogs. Get a water test kit.

    Hi,
Was your tank recently set up (with in the past few weeks?)
What color is the cloud? White/grey/green?
If so then it is likely a bacterial bloom. Aquarium filters need to cycle and this can take 6-12 weeks. Cycling a filter means you are building a beneficial bacteria colony in the filter - it is this bacteria that breaks down the ammonia (their waste) so it is less harmful between water changes.

Right now you are going to want to do daily partial waterchanges and make sure to condition the water with a dechlorinator to make the water safer for them.

How large of a tank do you have and what type of filter?
72 Gallon Bow - ACF and GF tank.
26 Gallon Bow - ACF tank.

20 Gallon Long - ACF tank.
