They can change pretty drastically in color as they grow. Some stay the same colors and others completely change. I have been thinking about doing a thread showing some "Then and Now" pictures to show how mine have changed...

Size: 78.6 KBHere's Rosie, we rescued her from big box pet store. (Petland) where she was kept on aquarium gravel with moss. I asked about her and the kid working there told me the frog had been there since the store had opened a year ago. Took her home and set up her tank according to the parameters recommended on this forum. She wouldn't eat or even move once she got burrowed in 3 inches of eco-earth. After a week of not eating, we decided to give her the warm bath treatment. Nothing happened during the soak but the next morning there were 3 of the biggest poops I've ever seen in a line across her tank and she was buried again. That evening she came out of her "hole", and for the first time since we had her we were watching her move on her own.
Dropped in a Dubia roach and she exploded on it, gone in a heartbeat. 2 more and she was done. I stopped back in the pet store to inquire about how the frog was being kept there and what they fed it. I was told crickets, only crickets and more crickets.
Now a days the smorgasbord includes such delicacies as night crawlers, hornworms, roaches, and last weekend first live pinkie that was gone in a gulp, I think she smiled after that one.

Rosie is a beautiful ornata! Love the red on her. I really have a soft spot for ornates for some reason.

I truly enjoy these "show your frogs" threads!
