I was hoping for everyone's opinions, please.
Does my frog's thighs look okay, color-wise? They just seem so much pinker than the rest of his underside, and I've heard concerns about red thighs.
In addition, hopefully you can see his front feet here--is it normal for him to have such WHITE pads in comparison to the rest of his foot? Or is this a sign of uncomfortable substrate?
Thanks so much for any help!
Hello. I believe your frog is fine, when did this start happening? And also, is that a wonderful Pacman Frog?
Wow, I have to go do research on that. Is it moving alright, or no?
Oh yeah, acting completely fine and everything. I'd just hate for it to be something that got worse later and I didn't realize it was a problem.
Whatta' mystery eh? I believe its a bacterial problem.. Is his whole leg red or just the pads. Poor guy.I just can't tell from the picture.
Okay, I just did reaserch and I'm pretty sure it's redleg. It's very common with Pacman frogs. Don't worry, you might want to take him to the vet.

The third picture is of red leg. Compare yours to that picture.
As far as I can tell from the pics it does not look like red leg too me looks normal
Well, maybe it's not red leg but it has to be red for a reason. And I apologize. I'm more of a reptile girl rather than amphibian. It took 3 days for Percocet to figure out why their reptiles are dying and it took me five minutes, my leopard gecko, and google.
Usually Pacman Frogs get kind of pinkish in that area from burrowing to the bottom of their enclosure and continue to try and burrow. Also the skin is farely thin in that area so some muscle coloring may show slightly. Red Leg also doesn't affect the bottoms of their feet especially not the front feed.
I'm sorry, my name lies. Haha. I'm a lizard master. NOT a frog. I'm learning and looking forward a lot to get my gray trees![]()
