I've had gold fish for about 3-4 years in this tank i have and now i'm done with fish. I want to have a new pet. I'm not allowed to have snakes. So, the next best thing is frogs. I just have a few questions.
1. What beginner frogs would be a good fit long-term with a 10gl tank?
2. How many frogs would be happy sharing a 10gl tank?
3. How long do most frogs live for?
4. How much would it cost to feed a frog for like a month, on average?
5. What would I need to put into the tank to keep happy health frogs?
Thanks.
Frogs as Pets - Pros and Cons and Good Species for Beginners
This should answer most of your questions. In general 1-2 frogs can live happily in a 10 gallon as long as they aren't too big or incredibly active. Feeding shouldn't cost very much considering that crickets and mealworms are only a few cents each. You could also breed insects for an even cheaper food source. Just reply to this if you have anymore questions!
