I have a bamboo plant that I purchased from Home Depot a while back..and I was wondering if I could put it into my baby gray tree frog, Haiku's, tanks? Would it be safe to use?? Just curious.. Thanks!!

yes you can use it but wash it off and re pot it
Okay great! And also can I use the pot that is already being used if I wash it?
It isn't soil being used though...it's rocks so do I just rinse them really well? Also, I have been watering the plant with regular tap water...
i would change it to soil you can even use eco earth and dont use bottled water tap water is bad for the frogs
Okay.. so I HAVE to change it to soil? Okay and is it fine if I've been watering it with tap water so if I switch now would that be fine?
I would switch the soil to Eco earth or plantation soil, or boil the rocks for at least 10 minutes to kill off Amy bacteria or fungus. Start watering with dechlorinated water or spring water.
It's best to prevent any possible germs from getting to your baby.
