So I have my fluorescent light for my green tree frogs on six hours a day. Is this enough? I've heard that twelve hours is good to create a day/night cycle for them, but my care book says six hours is a good amount.
Thanks!

If your running a planted tank then you would want to chance to more on than 6 hours.
Your frog just needs the lighting for creating a day and night cycle and temp changes.
I run mine 12/12 but all my tanks are planted.
So should I keep it on for twelve hours? Would having it on longer increase the temperature in the tank (it's the Reptiglo 2.0 13W)? I live in a very hot and dry climate, so if it does raise the temperature, I would prefer to have it on less than twelve hours. Also, what time should I turn it on and off?
