Ok, I think I got this figured out. I'm thinking of setting up my pacman like this. Medium critter keeper (saran wrap on top for humidity), Undertank heater placed on one side of the tank (low 80's temp), cocofiber substrate (spot clean everyday and change monthly), water bowl (fresh declorinated water daily). I going to try and tong feed mosty pacman food with nightcrawlers. Anything I'm forgetting? Do I need to give it regular soaks? Or will it be fine soaking itself in the water bowl?
Probably use a spray bottle of some sort with dechlorinated water to keep the hummidity up. Also might want to use crickets. I think theyre quite easy, just toss them in and theyll cross his path eventually. Worms youve got to stand there and feed them one by one lol
Careful with just leaving crickets in there...they'll take a bite out of your frog if they can. They also provide next to no nutrition and can carry mites. I have had a huge struggle with mites, they are awful to try to get rid of. I just drop a worm in front of Jr and he gobbles it up, but now he won't eat crickets. The worms are also good because there's no risk of impaction. Adult crickets shouldn't be fed because most of their body, mostly the head, is no longer digestible.
yep get a spray bottle for misting and Calcium and mineral dust and stick to tong feeding worm.. its better, crickets are just treats IMO...
