glad it worked... I would feed him like that.. if he is 2 plus inches every other day or so feeding is good and a soak doesnt hurt either... just feed as much as he wants every two days or so... some days he'll eat lots some he might not want any.. and that way there is no impaction risk.
Having the top of the critter keeper open is causing a draft and he's looking humidity. Cover the top except cut a whole in the top where the little clear lid is and leave the vents open on the short sides so there is air circulation. Like Jim said if he will eat in the bath do it that way from now on. Jim knows his stuff.
Just an update. He is now back in his original 10 gallon with some live pothos and moss(I tong feed him) to keep the humidity up. It's already much easier to maintain the humidity now that I've got moss and live plants. He's staying buried most of the time. Is this normal? I understand that he'll be stressed from the move but is this going to last long or will he get acclimated to the new enclosure and come out more? Anyway, just glad he ate. Feels like things are back to normal againThanks for you help everyone, virtual bear hugs incoming!
