    Default Coloration Changes?

    Hi all,

I've noticed lately that Orion has differences in coloration at times. He is a beige color when I get home in the evenings (around 4 PM), but is a much darker color first thing in the morning when his day light comes on (around 6 AM). He also seems to be a shade darker when feeding as well.

Could this be a sign of stress? Perhaps he's getting ready to shed? Could it be tied to his current mood?

He's eating well and all environment conditions are fine (day temps around 81°F; 77-78°F at night , humidity around 75-80%). The only thing that pops intro mind of concern is he hasn't pooped in 2 weeks.

Just kind of curious as to why his coloration would change. Maybe it's normal? Any other concerns?

    Thanks!

I had a fanstasy that would change from brown to orange to even a purplish color.

My ornate is completely different colors after it has been out of coco fiber and housed on paper towels for a couple of days.

    my apricot is more stable

most all non albinos will do that... see it all the time while feeding, also temps play a factor in color... so different times of day and night mean different color some slight some very drastic also sup straight can mean the biggest changes. sound like its all normal stuff going on wouldn't worry if hes eating and healthy looking.
