If yor frog is 1.5 inches it will need to eat it at least two to three times a week. One four ounce bag would last 3-4 months if this were the absolute only thing you fed to your frog, longer if you use other foods (recommended). It doesnt come in 14oz bags does it?

I just bought the larger bag for my little frogger. Now I patiently wait for it to ship from Japan. *Sits and waits by mailbox*

Well I guess since its mostly fish-based it would make sense for the kitties to like it.

Hi: I just got two of the 4 oz. pacs in the mail and the return address was Anaheim, CA.....The postage was $ 3.14..I'm in Fort Smith, Akansas, which is right on the border of Oklahoma, so it's not really all that far...I recall one forumite saying it was going to cost $15.00 to ship to Cananda?......I'd like to know WHY?
Anyway, the food came in about 10 days.

Good luck, I'm still trying to find data on the long term effects of the food.

Maybe thats where it was sent from for customs? As a Canadian I'm used to being "dinged" with extra shipping fees. It is $15 for shipping.

Hey, good point!...........I looked on the envelop and didn't see anything to indicate Japan as the origin, but then maybe it came in a box or something.....The bottom line is as long as it's delivered in a timely matter, THAT'S what counts.....OUCH!, that $ 15.00 does hurt!.....

Nuance Herptile Farm in Japan concocted this food, and aside from feeding Medaka (japanese killifish) to their Cornutas and picky eaters, they maintain all of their frogs on this food exclusively and Nuance has been successfully breeding these frogs for a very long time. Other than that, you aren't going to find much information on the long term health affects it has on the frogs due to the fact that it has not been widely available for very long.
