When they poop, you tend to know it--it tends to look very large for your frog's size and is often encased in a slimy coating. Some frogs are polite enough to leave it on top of their substrate, which makes it easy to pick out and get out of the cage, but unfortunately some of them like to bury it or it falls underneath when they burrow in a new spot--you might have to put on some gloves and go digging.
Also, if you recently changed the habitat, your frog might not be eating and therefore not pooping because he's stressed out.
