    Default Our new Tree Frog?

Hey everyone! My boys found a frog and we've decided to give it a home. I was hoping someone could confirm if its a Tree Frog?

Not sure what kind of froggy you found but it is NOT a tree frog!

Note the webbed hind feet and the lack of suction tips on his fingers... plus the slimy coat look.

Post this in the Frog forum asking what type of Frog XD

He is cute, but I would return him to the wild and pick one up from a store or breeder. He already has a home outside

No offense but I have to worry about the care that frog will be given, since you couldn't even tell the difference between a treefrog and a ranid. Wild ranids like the one you caught usually don't adapt well to captivity and they need a large tank.

Oh come off it. they obviously came to the forum looking for advice. If the only advice you can give is "you dont know anything about frogs" then what good is your input?

I had some toads when I was a kid and my mom let me keep them for a while and let them go, but its part of what inspired my interest in amphibians. If only my mom had access to a resource like the Frog forum.

Its a Green Frog by the way, and I posted the simplest and easiest method to care for them and you can PM me for any further advice or questions you might have Lynn! Green Frogs can do pretty well in captivity if housed properly and live for many years.
