I wouldn't feel bad about it. If you got him from the wild, it's very likely he simply died from old age.

I'm sorry for your loss. You gave him a much better chance then he ever would have gotten in the wild. Your feeling are of course natural as most people see them as an insignificant creature in this world people like use see something more and even a friend.
Once again I am truly sorry. RIP Tyr.![]()
You gave him a wonderful life (like others stated, I do believe he wouldn't have made it nearly as long in the wild.) He was loved, absolutely nothing to feel bad about - it was his time. I too love the idea of Frog Valhalla, I bet he's there now rocking out and having a blast![]()
RIP Tyr...
So sorry to hear this news ***hugs to you and your lady*** for your loss.
Sorry to hear it, manIf he didn't survive under your care he wouldn't have survived with anyone, and certainly wouldn't have made it 2 years in the wild!
I'm sorry Brian, he was very pretty boy.
Oh....... Brian. That's sad.
Sorry to hear this.
Perhaps there was some additional birth anomaly?
Lynn
