I see you finally managed to get picture's of Ray's laevigatas. Congratulations on that! How long did it take?
I was minding his place over Christmas so I had plenty of opportunities.

Cool.
Hi all,
My brother in law (also in the uk) is a prolific breeder of mantella viridis and would like to acquire some laevigata - he has had some in the past. Can anyone help us locate some in the UK?
Many thanks in advance,
Rebecca
Actually your brother in law asked a friend of mine privately about this, who in turn asked me. Here is what I told him:
Alan Cann may know someone - he's contactable through caudata.org or his own site. Then there is Mark Aartse-Tuyn, one of our moderators at Caudata.org, whose wife works for the BBC Natural History unit - he has had animals filmed before and may know where to look. Lastly, there is Marc Staniszewski, who can be contacted through dartfrog.co.uk. I wouldn't hold out much hope for any of them to have them though, but since Mark A-T is friends with both and has great contacts in the UK, he is probably the best person to ask.

Awesome, Thanks for another great "meet the frog"
You're welcome. There are plenty more in the pipe-line, including one written by Frank Indiviglio.
Oohh, I will look forward to that then.
