    Default Water Question

I just got a pacman frog yesterday and have a question have the water. I have dual filtered water from my refrigerator. One of them is a brita filter and i am wondering weather this water is good enough for my frog. I know that has to be chlorine free but since i have a dual filtered water that i drink everyday, shouldnt that be sufficient for the frog? thanks and the frog is a little larger than a quarter.

no you still should use Prime or something like it to make the water 100% safe!

I usually like to wait a while after treating it before I use it... But I guess it depends on how much you treat at a time.

The dual filters do NOT remove the chlorine. And why are you using refrigerated water on your frog?? Just curious.

I meant to say water from the refrigerator, not refrigerated that would be crazy. Until I get the water condioner I heard that if iu leave water out for 24 hours it removes chlorine. I have some water left out for about 12 hours now.

Chlorine evaporates, but Chlorimines do not. You MUST treat any water used for your frog. Leaving the water set out isn't enough anymore. There are several chemicals designed not to evaporate and heavy metals that also remain behind. Get a de-chlorinating agent.
