    Default Help!

Hi guys I'm sorry I'm bothering you again. But I got a baby pacman frog 4 hours ago. I noticed he was in a cup with water for he had to swim. I knew this was wrong. Now it's been 4 hours in his tank and he's very active but he moves by doing a swimming motion on land! I know this isn't normal. Do you think he will get used to land or stay like that for ever. Will it affect his life. Please respond. Thank you.

Ceratophrys species dnt exactly hop like a lot of frog species. they aren't designed for traditional frog hopping. I'm certain he is fine

you mean the goofy looking hind leg kicking? thats fine. Its also fine to keep them on shallow water if you provide a hall out for them to sit on, like a piece of aquarium filter foam.

Lol!! Yeah there not very graceful. The way other species of frog hop compared to a Pacman Frog hop is like the different between a Ballet Dancers leap and a Sumo Wrestler trying the same leap.

Ya! lol. I am worried tho because the owner at the reptile expo told me to keep the in water at all times. I know this was not right. I fear that thats all he knows because he swims like a pro. He will jump in the water dish and just swim for an hour. Even tho he can touch the bottom. When he gets out he acts like he is still swimming in coco fiber!! lol. Ill let him figure it out. On the bright side he finally ate one calciumed cricket. I was so happy.
