The senser is for outdoor use, so its safe for high humidity, ect. the senser shows the temp acuratly digitaly, and then also sends it to the weather panal thing on my desk. cost me around 14 bucks for both senser, and weather station. Says ambiant brand on it. Not sure if anyone else has good luck with these, but for the price, it sure does work! If anyone wants the link to amazon where I got it, just let me know.
