    Default Plant Quarantine Period?

I'm ready to add my live plants to my red eye tank. The soil has been removed, leaves rinsed and growing in coconut fiber for about a week. Is this enough time to assure any pesticides are gone?

If the plant was treated with systemic pesticides, those have the potential to stay inside the plant tissue for months after treatment. Also, as far as bleach treating plants go, it won't kill insects such as white fly or scale, so make sure to quarantine the plant long enough for any potential pest problems to present themselves, I usually quarantine mine for about a month.
