It seem like a stupid ? but can wild caught tads have/retain any parasites after transformation? My son caught like 20 wild tads at my work, I think there actually 2 different types of frogs but we'll see, I plan on keeping some as I already have a few WC pacific chorus frogs, which is what I think 1/2 are 99% sure, on display at my work. So i figured after they get some size on them I would introduce them to the colony but I was wondering if they could carry any parasites from there tad stages. Any feed back would be great thanks
they could still have stuff that could get your other frogs sick. I wouldn't risk it. I wouldn't think skin parasites would survive, but I would think that internal ones would still be in its gut.
ok so thats what im asking, do they get internal parasites as tads? Can they be born with them, you know past from mother to egg?
