Baking Sticks

I have a White's tree frog and I found a stick in my yard and just put it in the tank without doing anything to it. It has bark and is small, its just a stick I use to wrap vines on. Would this potentially hurt my frog? And if so, how could it effect it?

You have to watch for mites and such that could infest your tank. Bake them in the oven on 225 degrees F for an hour. Keep an eye on the branch(es) so they don't catch on fire. This will kill any potential critters in or on the branch .
