I have used Ruby Reef Eco Clean for several years. I have not lost an amphibian or experienced any problems. I believe as long as you are using this or any other chemical according to the instructions that everything would be fine. I have also used wipe out but wasn't a fan. I have also diluted bleach and liked it. Maybe it's just personal preference?

For me my main concern is that I've read bleach does not kill coccidia oocysts I'm really hoping high powered Peroxide will be an option against coccidia, because bleach stinks up the apartment for days (I'm sure ammonia will too) and really messes with my asthma... wouldn't do the frogs any good either :/ Nowhere outside to be able to clean things either, the landlords don't even allow car washing or kiddie pools! (or pets... *coff*).
    Mom to these fine frogs!
