Lol yeah i'm really not that crafty xD i don't want to have to divide the tank. What I've thought about doing is getting maybe a ceramic or plastic dog bowl and putting it as like a little "pool" then putting substrate around it. Like an in-ground pool

Very nice, how old is he? Yes they can choke one graver but I feed them is the water so they don't choke. Good luck

I would remove the gravel and either leave it bare bottom or use river rocks. I used to have mine in a 10 gallon with substrate and a buried bowl "pool" like you described and they liked it but getting the water out every day to change it was a pain. I switched it over to an all water tank with some rocks for them to climb out on and they really didn't do much. I have since went back to 1/2 water 1/2 land and they love it. They are so much more active and it makes feeding a LOT easier. Although one of mine will sit in the water and wait for the crickets to fall in instead of chasing them like the rest, lol.

I have smaller aquarium gravel right at the bottom of my tank, then a layer of bigger gravel on top of that at the land end, then a layer of even bigger river rocks on top of THAT so it still looks rocky, but the frogs can't really get at the small pieces. Do want more river rocks on top though, to doubly make sure none of the smaller pieces are visible/accessible.

EDIT: By the way, your FBT looks adorable

He's doing good and I really don't know how old he is. I'm wanting to do a half water and half land terrarium i'm just trying to figure out how to do it without actually gluing a divider in there.
