Hey everyone,
glad to join this wonderful community
For the past 6-7 months i have been raising an adf (Hymenochirus boettgeri to my belief) and a betta fish TOGETHER, in the same fish bowl. (yes, not a tank, a fish bowl)
I read a bunch of articles that do not recommend keeping them in the bowl, but it's the biggest one that can fit my room. anyway, they seem to be just fine, getting along pretty well with eachother, which is highly unlikely!
I love them both very much, they seem to be healthy and happy. just wanted to share and see what you think of them

I would upgrade to a 10 gallon aquarium with a gentle filter (a Tetra Whisper 20i would be ideal). Honestly a whisper filter + 10 gallon aquarium would cost you under 35 dollars at Walmart if you really wanted to go cheap.. it doesn't take up that much space either.
Your frog looks a bit thin to me, what are you feeding it? I think HBH Tadpole and Frog bites would good for him (again, very cheap, $2.50). Reptomin baby turtle/frog food would probably work too but you'd have to find a method so that the frog can find them (I have a method if you wish to know).
These guys can't eat fish flakes, I always see them eating flakes in the store and they all look gaunt.. a proper diet should fatten him up a bit.
I feed my frog with a blood worm once a day. do you suggest i should feed it more often? (the fish is not eating his food since i give it to the frog personally and watch him eat)
The reason why it is not recommended especially in a bowl is because sometimes the ADF will get playful and grab onto the betta's tail shredding it. I would upgrade to at least a 5 gal. Also in a bowl you can't exactly fit very much decor in there that allows the ADF to escape from the aggressive betta when he gets territoral.
